Shema  Spitzer is a music teacher, Ferko is a Roma social worker student, Lisa is Mrs. Szerb, a teacher

 

Shema:

– It is impossible that Geo does not come home…He even wrote a letter saying he will not return. But we wanted to begin to learn ancient wisdoms, like Kabbalah with him today.

 

 

Ferkó:

–  Yes..and he signed it „Cosmos”. He used this asa  pen name. But his real name, he rarely used, it is Srb. S.R.B comes from soreb and - it means resistance in Hebrew. He does not use it, because it was the name of his grandmother’s husband, who was a famous writer.  Lisa, you must be worrying. Or are you used to such weird things in this Serb family?

 

Liza:

 

–  Oh, well…Since my husband, Geo’s father is said to ahve committed suicide, I can imagine anything. His best friend, Dixie Gemes also died soon. I tried my best to deny him access to the family traditions and he never met the Gemes cousins.

 

Ferko:

 

There is some legend about some family  curse, isn’t it?

 

Shema:

 

I cannot believe that he just leaves us. Where is the lemon?

 

 

Liza:

 

Yes, the family legend claims that there used to be assassinations around some famuily members and always from some messianist cause. Are you in love with him now?

 

Shema:

 

A mother should not ask such questions. I do not think so, no. I am worried that they are always together with Ferkó.

 

         Liza:

 

Exactly, Jancsi, my husband was always together with Dixie. They drank so much, that the police had to be called many times. That is why the children were put itno an Orphanage. Or Education institute. What is that package  over there.

Ferkó:

– I do not know. There are these neighbouring Arabs and one of them gave itt o me , so that i should give itt o Geo. You know, geo nowadays goes regularly to the karate Club of the Muslim Community. I also would have loved to go away with him. Maybe he is already int he desert.

 

Shema:

– Liza, you let him dream about the desert?  

Liza:

 

Sure. I cannot influence him. I do not believe in love anyway. We still can have fun together.

Robbie Chak a balding sergeant and Panna Kris, a red-haired colonel of the Police Headquarters arrive in plain clothes.

Hi, Robbie…Panna…Have the courses started at the Police Academy?

 

Robbie:

 

Yes. Pity you did not want to start to study there with us. 

Liza:

 

 Well. After forty it is difficult to change direction.  

 Robbie:

 

You are right. I want to ask you about Geo. The Israeli colleagues who accompany the Israeli President found out about a plot of assassination against the Israeli President that originated at the Mulsim Karate Club. So they found the name of Geo Cosmos. And the very same they we got the information that your mother-in-law, Claire Balint has died int he Old Peoples’ Home.  What do you think?

Ferkó and  Geó went over to visit Granma a lot of times. And they went to the Muslims just because it is close by. Already his father preached that all religions are equivalent and you may go to any one. He also said that there were Turkish ancestors int he family. So they did not go there for terrorist sympathies.

 

 

A man enters, Bandi Szőke, the filmmaker.

How do you mean Shema is an ex-girlfriend?  I just helped her to get a flat to live in.

Ferkó:

Geó decided to leave us, he went to Vienna. He left a farewell letter. Maybe he will enter the Foreign Legion.

 

Liza :

Stop Feró. Robbie is here from the Police and they claim there is som ebig problem with your Muslim friends. They plan some killing.

 

 

 Robbie :

Of course it might be just a coincidence. To go to the Legion ont he very day of his being looked for by the Police…after the death of his Grandmother…All her Notes have disappeared.

 

Bandi:

Oh. The Notes of Antal Szerb’s widow! The famous writer had some problems according to those notes they say. I wanted to make a movie on him.   

 

 

Panna:

There are some stolen Crown jewels mentioned in it. Maybe Geo just wants to search for these diamants and that is why he left us.  There is an Israeli Officer among the Security people, who says his name is some David somehing and he is related to the Szerbs…and is a descendant of the prague Rabbi Löw and also of King David…

 

 

Liza:

 

 Oh, my god…Maybe he stems from the family Gemes…They also claim to be a davidic family, yes. Always rivalizing with us.

Panna:

 No, his name is Geshem.  

 

 

Liza:

I made a big mistake. I was involved in  the family matters when I decided that the children of Dixie Gemes should stay int he Orphanage and then be sent to Israel. I just have heard that Jancsi was researching the family legends and that in every generation some people had same-gender leanings and some of them were Princes and they were killed for these emotional impbaalnce. I did not want the next generation to continue this pattern.

 

They all watch the TVG now, we see a Football Stadium.

Panna:

 

Some say the Notes contain information abaout a mysterious repetitive pattern of assassinations. Each 45 years. There is a Prince killed.  And some claim the Princes are involved in homoerotic relationships due to a special kabbalist school. They learn it because of their davidic ancestors. And the killer stems always from the Baltazzi family. First it was Crown Prince Rudolf and after 45 years it was the friend of Proust, the Serb Tzar. The last victim was Lord Mountbatten, the Uncle of the English Queen.  Geo’s Father, Jancsi Szerb has left some notes too, he got them from his friend, Dixie Gemes.

 

         Robbie:

There is mention of a family diamant that the assassins have hidden somewhere.

  Panna:

 

There are Baltazzi descendants in many parts of Europe. In Vienna, in Marseilles, in Dublin, in Zagreb. They are descendants of the Paleologos family who is a davidic branch. According to legend, the messianic Rank descends only on the father’s side. Maybe Geo found out something about Dixie’s father.

 

 

 

Bandi :

We certainly do not know if Geo really went and joined the Legion. We do know that he started to use the name Cosmos when he first read the Manuscripts of Dixie. Dixie used to call everybody „Geocosmos”.

 

Panna?

Bandi:

 

Because he claimed that the World Being is just one huge human being and so it should be called Adam kadmon, or in Greek, geocosmos. Anyway, in kabalah the teachers and the students share a name. Like the Baal Shem Tov’s teacher was also called Baal Shem Tov.  Or like the followers of the Jesus Christ also called each other Jesus or Christos. And Dixie got this name Cosmos from bela Tábor, a friend of Anthony Szerb, the writer. He was the first to teach the Kabbalah in Budapest before the war.

 

 

Panna:

 

And who is this Arab, who left here this package? We do know that he is half Arab, half Muslim. And he is afraid that some tradtions claim that the Mashiah will come from a mixed heritage family. I think he knows that we larn Kabbalah and messianism and hopes to hide himself among us.

 

 

Liza:

And his wife, Claire Balint has an Aunt, Beate Spitzer who was Lesbian...And they all had hints in their Diaries about why Kabbalah is meant to deal with homoerotic relationships. Why these taboo embraces of the celestial beings actually are the most important for life on Earth.

So now I am afraid he went  on TV naked to be seen by all. Because he knows that there are Israeli Security officers looking around in Budapest, Vienna and Zagreb, where they accompany the Isareli president. And he probably hopes that somehow the Israeli will find him. And he wants to find his lost cousin, David.

Oh, yes, I understand you. No mother really wants  a gay son. But to deny him a friendship with his cousin…

You see this cousin stems from a mixed heritage family. And there are the other legends, where two messianic prteneders get involved in learning and one of them gets killed. So it is not just that I am afraid he would turn out to be  gay.

But he also went to this Buddhist sect before. Where they never eat bread.  And he used to say that Jesus himself never ate bread, he raised the bread and said it is „my body” to hint at the fact that we humans do not eat human bodies so we should skip bread…

Shema:

         – Yes, but it was not a Buddhist sect. It was a Kabbalist sect.

– I think it was a mistake not to tell him about his father. Claire also preached against wheat. She learnt it from an Aunt Beate, who knew personally Sissy, the Empress. She was allergic to wheat and milk. And she learned Kabbalah. She knew the secret name of God. (That Yahweh means Future. Future-Maker). But her son, Jancsi did not keep this diet. They went through the night with Dixi and they drank and smoked pot and did not have any fear from no one. They did not know that there are opiates in the wheat.  Now I think it was a mistake not to tell about it to Geo.

I found some manuscripts in the Headqwuarters Archives. Maybe parts of these lost Notes. Those that were copied by Dixi Gemes.  It was taken from him forcibly.

In 1889 it mentions the death of Crown Prince Rudolf. In 1934 the killing of the Serb Tzar, the firend of Proust. And the writer Anthony Szerb, Geo’s relative was present there in Marseilles.

 

Of course in Kabbalah the Death of the Kings means the death of the Ego.

 And yes, all three victims were objects of gossip, that they had intensive love affairs with servants, mostly that was the topic. Buti t was probably not true as we do know about their children and  many women in their lives.

 

Bandi :

 

Between  89 and  34 we have four decades.  45 years. And between 1934 and 1979 /the third assassination, teho ne of Lord Mountbatten/ also. Which means the next one in this messianist assassination series comes in 2024.

So this plan against the Israeli President in 2004 cannot succeed.

– These are Kabbalist numbers.  The sums of the name of God. These letters (YHWH) cerate everything. It depends on how we can censor our ego. So I think it is simple: the Hasid sects believe in the Mashiah popping up in every generation. And the royal houses also claim descent from King David. So they clash with each other.  That is why we have these regular clashes and the perpetrator always comes from this family Baltazzi Xantopoulos…And Geo may have some relatives from this partly Muslim family. So if he heard about the mixed heritage legend around the messiah, he might have some fears.

–   of course…the XAntos family…But my present name, Szőke setems from Xantos…So maybe I am also a relative. What if we made a movie of  all this. If  Geo  returns he could play zthe Princes. Shema, you could be playing the Aunt Beate Spitzer as she is your ancestor. And Liza, you could play Granma Claire. And of course we have an Indian Hindu role, this can be played by Ferkó.  And me, of course I have to assume the role of this Baltazzi the killer. I remember, Aunt Claire has tried to persuade his son Jancsi, to make this movie and they did plan it with a frtiend, called Body and Dixi would have played in it.

Ferkó:

 

How? Geo writes a farewell letter that he enters the Legion. Then we see him naked on a football stadium’s grass. And then we find this manuscript detailing some assassinations and love affairs int he past around the family, copied by this avangarde artist, called dixi. I do not see the danger.

 

 

 

Liza :

 

Well, what can  I say to his wife and to his children?

 

 Panna:

We must find the rest of the manuscripts.  

 

Lisa:

 

Even hois father has had a Kabbalist group. They have been learning, jancsi and Dixi from a man called Bela Tabor. He gave them lectures on the teachings of a Rabbi called Ashlag. About the balance between Giving and Receiving. The original teachings stem from the Matser of the Good Name, the Baal Shem Tov. And he learned from a disciple of the Prague íMaharal, the Rabbi Löw, a cousin of the Rabbi Luria, Who created the best interpretation ont he colelction of ancient writings, the so called Zohar.

 

So Dixi thought that he himself might be the Real Davidic Sprout. So they were rivalizing with Jancsi.  They called each other During Cosmos or sometning like that. The Kabbaists say that Adam Kadmon is a geo-cosmic soul. Adam meaning earth, a s in Greek it means Geos. They called Jeus in a different way. Jazz-Up. Because they said his original name was meaningful. Something to „jazz up” people. Buzt I am worrying now for my son. What if among the Izraeli Commando we have here the son of Dixie?

– Oh, I remember when i was young, i did know Dixie. And Jancsi Szerb too. And Peter Halasz and Pisti Balint. I always kind of idolized one of them. And yes, I happen to have Spitzer ancestors. It is strange.

– Okay, it seems that Geo left these things for us to decipher…maybe that is why he disappeared. So that we should become curious about our ancestors. I understand that Aunt Claire has presured Dixie and his wife to give their children into this Orphanage and later sent them to Israel. But they might have changed their name. …

– I am angry at Dixie. He sent his family to Israel! And now my son is learnuing karate with Muslims and maybe this Israeli Officer cousin is already looking after him. And they both want to try the lost diamants of the Baltazzis.

So it turns out that Hungarian noblemen have davidic Jewish ancestors?

Anbd even me, in spite of having Hindi ancestors, I also belong tho this Hungarian gentry and may have Mulsim ancestors too?

Yes. I have found more from Dixie’s manuscript in another part of the Police Archives. Here we have a scene in which Minister Kozma and Prime Minister Gömbös meet the populist writers, like Németh, Illyés, Móricz and Márai and they try to persuade them to enter the governing party int he Parliament. They refuse though. But they are talking about gossips about other writers, like Cécile Tormay and Emma yttoch (from the Gulácsy family) having Lesbian affairs.

 

Dixie wonders abot the importance of gender roles in alcient wisdom lore. And he is also finding it curious that some people are allergic to wheat and its opiate content. Especialy interesting that these wheat opiates are having an effect on the testosterone creation in the body. Hence wheat has an effect on our manly and womanly behaviour patterns.

 

 

Shema t:

– Even i fal this is true, It is too much for me to understand why Geo went to the Muslims and why he went to this football strip show…Except if he knew that through the Muslkims the Israeli Comamndo might find him…and he really only tries to find his lost cousin, this Ben Dixie.

Yes. It was a mistake to keep all these secrets. I should have at least tell itt o Geo after the demise of his father Jancsi and also after the death of Dixie.

Still I think it is not clear why he has to create such an unpleasant situation for hois wife and his chldren..and for all of his freinds. Maybe he found the Diaries… And maybe he thinks that he is part of this Geocosmic Being..and he must find the positive side, the Adam Kadmon side.

He has left me too. I am his mother…

But he has a message. Which may help to many people. In order to reach the audience he must do some extravagant gestures.

 

 Bandi:

But these messages are known without him. The Taoist sex is a famous method to secure orgasm for men without ejaculation. Because the killing of the sperm make some people nervous.

Exactly. That is why I wanted Dixie out of the life of Jancsi. Because Jancsi was a real Davidic Sprout. And if people learn from Dixie that anyone can become a Ben David…well, then the whole edifice of Judaism crumbles. Not to mention the other religions that are just following  the legends of Judaism.  I am quite worried now about this Izraeli Officer called Geshem. It is too much similar of the original Gemesh name.

The problem with the born Mashhiah is that then he is a Star and he is better than others. Buti f anyone can become part of the Messinaic Soul, the Geokozmos, whoever filters his desires, well, then of course  this problem disappears.

 

Bandi:

–  Andi f we all use the name Cosmos for each other…kind of expressing that we are part of the Cosmos…well, is that not a kind of idolizing?

Robbie:

All human excess is caused by the xtra piatest hat is int he wheat. It is called gliadorphin. So if we begin to work ont he message of this forgotten artist, Dixie…

Why not? By the way you could not help Geo who is now in custordy in Vienna?

Feri :

 Okay…I know that Shema Spitzer from the Addictology. Because she is not only a Jazz singer she is an addictologist too. And she used to know Dixie from the Afrtist Club int he Eighties…They even started to make a movie together with Bandi Szőke-Xantos and Dixie.

And both Dixie and Jancsi Szerb were raised in Orphanages not only their childen were put there. Anthony Szerb also complains in his Diaries about being far away from his father. And Aunt Beate was having problems with her mother.  Aunt Claire similarly always contended with her mother. So yes, parenting deficit may be a common feature in this family. So they all turn to Kabbala to heal. And strangely they are involved with some other messianist-kabbalist inspired evil deeds. The Killing of the Kings.

Buti t seems that the killings are not done by the Baltazzis after all. There is always some woman in the background.  Mary Vetsera-Baltazzi  could have first killed Rudolf after she heard about his idolizing of Ardjuni, the great-grandfather of our  Ferkó.  And Laura AHyman, a girlfriend of Proust could have arranged to kill his earstwhile lover, the Tzar of Serbia.  Like Edwina, lady Mountbatten , who was reportedly rather jealous when her husband hired young Arjuni as a driver who then fell in love with Miss Angela, the bride of this Thomas MacMahon, the arested perpetrator.

Let’s see Aunt Claire. I found a video interview with her after the death of her son Jancsi.

I rarely saw Janosh, he was always in town, running around with Dixie and consuming a lot of alcohol. That wa sthe time when Dixie marrie dMary from the Löw family, called Lukács by then. I am not happy to have an Aunt who happens to be friends with famous Nazis like Gömbös or his minister Kozma. And now to relaize that by joining this Muslim group I am also part of some anti-jewish movement.

Aunt Calire was grateful for Kabbalah, because when Uncle Tony Szerb discovered the teachings of Luria throuihgh Rabbi Ashlag, he at once got relief. He now could have his regular fathewrless body-part fantasies without thinking that it is a sin.

So he loved to learn together with Ernie Szilágyi, who knew Ashlag and with Bela Tabor, who then wrote about these teachings in his books…And they did follow the KAbalist custom of men dancing together embracing each other… Dixie and Jancsi always came home late in embraces. That is why Liza has denied access to Dixie and later arranged that the children should never ever meet.

         And that is why his son Geo is doinhg extravagants happenings to come into the view of the Police and the Israeli Security people around the visiting President.

 

Panna:

 I think that our artist Shema has some secrte Roma members in her family. So she goes to live in Jancsi’s flat (without knowing about the Spitzer connection of tehSzerb family) and then meets Ferko Ardjuni as a psychologist and she naturally tries to introduce the two youngsters,Geo and Ferkó. Maybe unconsciously she wanted to help Geo to find a soul-mate. Who has also the same ancestors as him.

Robbie :

 

  We should look after the parents of Miss Shema. Who knows, her mother might have been the very same woman who then beacme a Nanny in teh Orphanage of Geo and little David Ben Dixie. So anyway, later Shema hears about Aunt Claire having some Diary…That might be identical with what Dixie has copied when he wanted to know more about his family.

But Aunt Claire tries to hide the Diaries. Stil, when she sleeps, the boys may find some parts of the text.

 

Panna:

 

It is not too realistic as a possible reconstruction of the events of her last night. These children would not attack an old lady fro any manuscript.

Robbie:

But if Aunt Beate wanted to persuade the children about the secret messianic message aroun dthe diminishing of desires through not eating wheat..well, then maybe she had to pretend that she wants the Manuscripts to be hidden.

Shema has also some Diareis of those times: (Robbie is reading it)

„At first I loved to be a waitress…Then I hated it but then I met Jancsi Szterb at a restaurant where I used to job. And I also met his best friend, Dixie Gemes and the young Abndi Szőke-Xantos. Robbie:

 

Anyway, if these diamants that are mentioned int he Manuscripts exist,m then maybe we should know more about the relationship between Jancsi Szerb and actress Shema and Dixie.

 

Panna:

 

But Shoma wanted to hide her Roma ancestors and so she began to use his grandfather’s name, that was Spitzer. And we now know that there was a Hat Salon called Spitzer’s in Vienna where Mary Vetsera Baltazi first met Rudolph.

 

Robbie:

 

It is strange that everyone was kiled who witnessed the assassinaion of the Crown Prince.  

It is quite improbable that these assassinations have anything in common. But clealy the motives are recurring. There is some coincidental connectio between Upper fantas ywordks and the Downer real World. When the Hindpart is raised to the Eye a King is killed. So the fears of the Mothers are clear. If the Sons hear about Davidic ancestry tey begin to learn Kabbalah and as they learn together the Eye falls ont he Hindpart and some fantasy killing also starts…

We should get in contact with these Israeli colleagues. One of them is called David Geshem. What if he is stemming from the Gemes family and is the lost son of Dixie?

We see Shema and Ferkó and Bandi in a pizzeria. They  are attacked by the police , they start to fight.

 

 Bandi:

 

I think, Geo went to the flat of the Zagreb Baltashi family. Frau Baltashovic. Robbie also wants to get there for there is a suspicion that she has all the diamants.

Sergeant Volumic at Headquarters:

Shema:

 

I am Shema Spitzer speaking

 

Volumic:

 

From the 7 th of Petrovic street? Yes, we stat out, we heard that there are flowers falling through a window.

 

 

Int he Petrovic street house of Frau Baltashovic, Geo and the Izraeli oficer cousin, David Geshem are fighting againts each other. They both found out about the Stasi agent who killed their fathers, Jancsi Szerb and Dixie Gemes.

Their faces were bloodied as they did have a few wounds effectuated by the flying flowerpots.

 

 

 Then we see the Policemen arriving.

 

They anter the room but it is empty.

 

 

Volumic:

 

Okay, it was a fake alert. We leave.

 

(They leave)

 

We see the pseudo-wallpaper on the ceiling opening: Geo and David are hiding there.

 

Geo.

 

David, it was your idea to hide behind this false ceiling. What can I do for you?

 

David:

 

Nothing.

David is leaving.

 

Geo is sure that he did find the Notes or Diaries in a small package.

WE hear his inner voice.

 

Geo:

 

Maybe it is better to leave him alone.

Maybe Aunt Claire is right. Maybe there is a Family Curse. Atherless cravings., bad Eye directions on Hindparts, who knows.  Since generations it creates only havoc and tragedies.

 

 We see Sergeant Robbie outside as he follows from behind a tree the movements of David.

 

David steps over to him:

Yes, i did find this package. I feel it is the diamonds and maybe a few papers from the Manuscript of my father.

 

 

 David steps over to a trash bin and throws the package into it.

 

And he goes away.

 

Robbie does recover the package. It is mostly papers.

 

Some papers do prove that the family had Muslim ancestors. King Mathias of Hungary a distant relative  claims in a letter that his cousin is the Sultan (due to his grandmother being married to the Sultan’s father.)

–people wil only know him as a crazy artist…No one will believe him. You should find out ways to disseminate these teachings. How to fight gender role disturbances with kabbalah and the wheat diet…

 

Ferkó:

What is the matter with this TV set? Why these lights? Oh…we are watching a cassette it was not  areal Football Match.

 

Shema:

Bandi:

 So this Geshem is the Ben Dixi? And they did meet after all? I wanted to keep them apart. Who knows, thee were so many deaths before around this strange teaching...I did not want to let the Gemes family win the prize, the messianic pretender role of the generation!

 

 

Panna:

But maybe Kabblists who claim that we are all Jewish (meaning Grateful Ones), maybe they are right. And then it is all the same who is born in which family…An dall thesed Kingly Killings are just inner events. They happen only in our Hearts.

 

Liza:

Aunt Claire has tried to explain this nto me. That there is two sides fighting inside…The Shadowy Geo Cosmos against the Real Sprout, the Adam Kadmon.

 

So when the two were in the Orphanahge I decided to change them. I di want to save my son, Geo from this fate of belonging to the Shadowy Side. And I never wanted to grant the Good Side (The Geshem guy)any victory…

 

Shema.

 

You mean the whole legend is just simply untrue? We are all just robots…and only the davidic family feud is real?  And there is always an Inner Woman who fights the Inner Man.

 

Liza:

 

I did hide the Diaries when I relaized the children are going to visit Granma Claire to read exceprts of it.

 

And then Granma has awakened and saw me taking away the Notes and ..well she got frightened from my shadow in  he dark room and got a heart attack. I am sorry.
